The Battle of Kletsk was fought on 6 August 1506, between the army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the army of the Crimean Khanate. The battle was one of the greatest Lithuanian victories over the Tatars. In painting you can see the moment when armies preparing for battle and gathering to the Navagrudak Castle.
